HYDERABAD: Smarting under defeats in successive bypolls in Telangana region, the TDP is rethinking on its stance on Telangana statehood demand and the change in its policy is likely to supplement the stance the party took in October 2008.

Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu indicated this at a meeting held at NTR Bhavan here on Thursday to celebrate the party’s 31st foundation day.

Naidu also dropped enough hints to this effect during a chit-chat with reporters in the lobbies of the Assembly. The options before the party are writing a letter to the Centre or assuring people that it would not create obstacles if the Centre initiates the process.
