The last rites of D Hemanth Kumar (14), a student of the V P Siddhartha Public School, who died of cardiac arrest at Pahalgam in Kashmir after being kicked by a horse on Thursday, were performed here on Saturday.
School management said Hemanth’s body was handed over to his relatives around 9.40 pm on Friday at Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad. Hemanth’s body was brought to his house in the One Town area of the city around 7 am on Saturday. The funeral was conducted at around 10.30 am.
