The ACB court took cognisance of the second charge sheet filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau and issued prisoner transit (PT) warrant against former Karnataka minister and mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy, and legislators Gali Somasekar Reddy and TH Suresh Babu, and ordered their production in the court before September 25 in the cash-for-bail case.
The second charge sheet lists the names of seven accused and 70 witnesses. Suspended judge K. Lakshminarasimha Rao is mentioned as A-1, another suspended judge D Prabhakar Rao as A-2, realtor Ravi Suryaprakash Rao as A-3, Janardhan Reddy's relative G Dasaratha Rami Reddy as A-4, Janardhan Reddy's brother and Karnataka legislator Gali Somasekar Reddy as A-5, Karnataka legislator TH Suresh Babu as A-6 and Janardhan Reddy as A-7 .
Former CBI judge Naga Maruthi Sarma and Bellary MLA Sriramulu figure in the list of witnesses.
The second chargesheet pertains to the second case registered by the ACB on attempts to bribe Pattabhirama Rao while the first chargesheet pertains to conspiracy to strike a bribe deal to secure bail for Janardhan Reddy.
