TJAC seeks Governor's help on statehood

Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram led a delegation to meet governor ESL Narasimhan here on Tuesday and sought his intervention for an announcement on Telangana by the Centre.

Kodandaram wanted  Narasimhan to convey the sentiments of the people in the T region. 

Narasimhan, sources said, wanted to know from Kodandaram whether TJAC could defer the Telangana March scheduled on Sept 30 as the day is sandwiched between Ganesh Nimajjan on Sept 29 and inaugural of COP-II on Oct 1.
