‘Don’t pass on FSA to consumers’

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA T Harish Rao on Thursday asked the AP Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) to see that the fuel surcharge adjustment (FSA) of farmers is not being passed on to the domestic and industrial consumers.

The APERC on Thursday conducted a public hearing on the imposing of FSA for the first quarter of 2012-13 to the tune of Rs 2,165 crore. Harish Rao said that the FSA amount of farmers should be calculated on agriculture feeders and the state government should bear the entire amount.
