Dharmana meets Kiran, replies to notice

As the date of his scheduled appearance, Sept 25, in the special court for CBI cases is fast approaching, roads and buildings minister Dharmana Prasada Rao called on chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at the CM’s camp office at Begumpet here on Saturday night.

According to sources, the minister submitted his reply to the chief minister to the notice issued by the government on the charges levelled against him in the fourth chargesheet filed by the CBI in connection with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s assets case.

It is learnt that Dharmana once again told the chief minister that he was innocent and had not violated any rule while issuing GOs on land allotment for the Vanpic project. He wondered how the CBI could point a finger at him and level charges on the decisions taken by the cabinet.

“Whatever decisions I had taken in the capacity of revenue minister during the regime of YSR were taken in accordance with the business rules of the government. I did not violate a single rule,” he told reporters later.
