TDP MLA Payyavula Keshav tried to enact a hanging drama with a rope he carried with him inside to perform mock hanging in the House by bringing a hanging rope in protest against that state government utter failure to discuss the burning problems concerning the people such By making a noose with it, he tried to do a mock act alleging that the drought-hit farmers were left with no other choice as the government had failed to go to their rescue though they were struggling with power and water shortage and a host of other problems.
The Speaker told the member not to resort to such a thing and maintain restraint. The other TDP members shouted against the Chair and said they were being questioned by their constituents on the government’s failures.
