The chairman and managing director of Secured Investment Making Services (SIMS) India Private Limited, K Surendra Gupta was remanded to 14 days in judicial custody by the first additional metropolitan magistrate court here on Tuesday.
Three special police teams are investigating the multi-crore financial fraud wherein the company was said to have collected Rs 300 crore from 35,000 depositors besides purchasing lands.
