Jagga Reddy isolated in Congress?

Congress activists, mainly followers of Sangareddy MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy, did not attend the Telangana Sadhana Sabha held by party leaders from the region at the Nizam College grounds in Hyderabad on Sunday.

The reason cited for their conspicuous absence is that though the legislator is a Congress man, he wasn’t invited. Even if invited, Jagga Reddy, as he is popularly known, wouldn’t have marked his presence.

However, a large number of party activists from other Assembly segments like Andol, represented by deputy Chief Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha, Zaheerabad represented by Major Industries Minister J Geeta Reddy, Patancheru, Narsapur and Gajwel, went to the meeting. Even those from Siddipet, Medak and Narayakhed went to the meeting.
