TTD to set up Veda Pathasala in Nalgonda

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has sanctioned a ‘Veda Pathasala’ for Nalgonda district headquarters.

The TTD officials visited a three-acre site near Chaya Someshwara Aalayam, Panagal in Nalgonda town and decided upon the same for the construction of school.

In the meantime, the Veda Pathasala will commence its activities at Srisailam left bank canal circle - 2, engineer quarters at Panagal. T. The Veda Pathasala will admit 50 students.

The vedic school is inviting application from the eligible candidates from Wednesday. The TTD will also deposit an amount of `3 lakh per student admitted into the school. The amount along with the bank interest will be given to the student after completion of the course.

The students who wish to join Veda Pathasala should have been born from July 1 2001 to June 30, 2003. He should have complete ten years of age and completed class 5. The TTD will deposit an additional `1 lakh per student for the students joining in Smartha and Agama courses.
