TDP president Chandrababu Naidu categorically said that the Telugu Desam is not against Telangana. Participating in the party’s regional conference in Kazipet at Hanmankonda town here on Sunday he said that if voted to power, he would provide government jobs to the Telangana martyrs’ kin.

Naidu addressed the party cadre and shared suggestions over the local body polls. “We will also lift cases registered by the Congress government against Telangana agitators,” he said.

Referring to general elections at the centre, Naidu predicted that Congress would never come back into power and the BJP will not be able to garner enough votes. “The TDP will play a major role in bringing third front into power. In the past NDA could complete it full term only with the help of the TDP,” he recalled.

Instilling confidence among the party cadre Naidu asked workers from Warangal, Karimnagar, Adilabad and Khammam districts to work for the upcoming local body polls.
