Thousands of people and leaders of various parties attended the last rites of Congress Party official spokesperson Kotagiri Vidyadhar Rao performed at his native village East Yedavalli of Kamavarapukota mandal here Sunday.
His son Kotagiri Sridhar gave fire to the pyre. Earlier, his body was taken to his paddy fields in a procession. Social Welfare Minister Pitani Satyanarayana, DCC president and MLA Kothapalli Subba Raidu, MLAs, MLCs and many others were present.
