VH Condemns attack on Botcha's house

Rajya Sabha member and senior leader from Telangana V Hanumanth Rao on Saturday took strong exception to the attack on the residence and other properties of PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana and his followers.

Rajya Sabha member and senior leader from Telangana V Hanumanth Rao on Saturday took strong exception to the attack on the residence and other properties of PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana and his followers.

“This is a reflection of the upper caste domination in politics. Leaders who gave letters in favour of division are being spared while those like Botcha, who always spoke for united Andhra Pradesh, are being attacked,” Rao said, adding that NGO leaders are also acting at the behest of certain leaders.

Speaking to newsmen after meeting the PCC chief at his residence, the MP sharply criticised YSRC president Jagan Mohan Reddy for saying that Sonia Gandhi opted for bifurcation of AP to secure seats for the party and make her son the prime minister.

“It is surprising that someone like Jagan is making such a statement against a person who spurned the highest post in this country. Was it not Jagan who gathered signatures of legislators that he should be made the chief minister even before the body of his father was brought to the residence from the forests where he died in a chopper crash?” Rao questioned.
