Ilapuram Vows to Protect BC Rights

MLC Ilapuram Venkaiah has promised to extend his support for protection of BC rights in the state.

VIJAYAWADA: MLC Ilapuram Venkaiah has promised to extend his support for protection of BC rights in the state.

Speaking at a BC community meeting here Sunday, he stressed the need to fight for the rights of BCs and also mentioned that a BC association must be established in Vijayawada to ensure unity among the community.

MLC Boddu Nageswara Rao, said, “BCs are deprived of their rights in the state and Union government,” and added that every one in the community must play a key role in protection of rights.

Deputy mayor, Gogula Ramana Rao said that education plays a key role in everyone’s life and urged the community members to provide high quality education to their children and later lauded the efforts of the TDP government.

Several municipal chairpersons, ZPTC members, municipal corporators from the BC community and members of the community attended.
