Officials Told to Finish SC/ST Sub-Plan Works

Collector N Yuvaraj has directed the officials concerned to immediately complete the works sanctioned under the SC/ST Sub-Plan during 2013-14.

VISAKHAPATNAM: Collector N Yuvaraj has directed the officials concerned to immediately complete the works sanctioned under the SC/ST Sub-Plan during 2013-14.

Addressing the SC/ST Sub-Plan Monitoring Committee meeting here Monday, the collector asked the officials of Tribal Welfare, Roads and Buildings, Panchayat Raj, Irrigation, Rural Water Supply to prepare an action plan for undertaking the works sanctioned under the SC/ST Sub-Plan in the present fiscal.

He also asked officials of Agriculture, District Rural Development Authority, Social Welfare, Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited, District Water Management Authority, Education and Municipalities to help with the same.

He announced that the works would be reviewed every two months and told them to attend the meeting with complete details and status of the respective works.

Integrated Tribal Development Agency project director Vinay Chand, tribal welfare deputy director Mallikharjuna Reddy, social welfare deputy director Srinivasan, chief executive officer Maheswara Reddy and DRDA project director Satya Sai Srinivas also participated.
