Toddy Tapper Dies on Tree

VIJAYAWADA: A 70-year-old man died while tapping toddy at Nageswararaopet in Krishna district here Tuesday. The deceased was identified as E Nageswara Rao.

According to the police, the victim had a cardiac arrest when he was tapping toddy on a palmyra tree and died instantly.Police and the fire department officials rushed to the spot after finding out about the incident and brought the body down.Pedana MLA Kagita Venkat Rao visited the scene, where a large number of villagers had gathered.
