VISAKHAPATNAM: Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) celebrated the I-Day with its chairman-cum-managing director DK Mohanty unfurling the tricolour at the corporation.
He congratulated all the employees and their family members on the improved performance in 2013-14 as the company is expected to achieve excellent MoU rating for the financial year 2013-14 after three years.
He emphasised the need for employees to continue the hard work and improve the performance in 2014-15 as well.
He stated that DCI was serving the country by developing and maintaining navigable channels in the ports and thereby contributing to the economic growth of the country.
Patriotic songs were rendered by the employees of DCI and cash prizes were distributed among the employees who won the Hindi quiz competitions, sports and games.
The CMD’s wife Rita Mohanty, director (operations and technical) P Jayapal, his wife Malaty Jayapal and other HoDs, employees and their families were present at the I-Day event.
