VIJAYAWADA: BJP Member of Parliament Bandaru Dattatreya today said that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan's move to bring chief ministers of both the states together at Raj Bhavan was "wise but late".

The former union minister told reporters here on sidelines of a function that now both the chief ministers should concentrate on development leaving aside the differences.

Both states have plenty of natural and human resources for the development and at the same time, the Central government is also determined to develop both the states, he added.

Dattatreya said that both the chief ministers have to take advantage and seek more funds from the Centre for the development of their respective states.

He said BJP units in both the states have initiated process of development and that Hyderabad has huge potential for development to become a world-class city
