VISAKHAPATNAM: The VUDA has invited applications online for allotment of 38 available vacant flats in Haritha Housing Project, nearing completion at Madhurawada.
Its vice-chairman (incharge) MV Satyanarayana said the allotment would be done by lots with pre-fixed price for the units, the online applications of which would be received from Thursday, September 5 till 5 pm. The draw of lots would be conducted on September 7 from 10.30 am on the third floor, VUDA office.
The VUDA has taken up the Haritha Housing Project in an area of 20 acres with 710 units in HIG, MIG and LIG categories in 11 blocks. The project is located on the 100-foot road connecting the NH-16 with the Beach Road, very close to the Visakhapatnam IT SEZ with proximity to Ramanaidu Film Studio, GITAM University and equi-distant (2.5 km) from both the NH-16 and Vizag-Bheemili Beach Road.
The project construction is nearing completion. Construction of blocks has been completed and the development of infrastructure works is being expedited.
VUDA secretary GC Kishore Kumar said that 25 units in MIG category and 13 in LIG category are available for allotment.
Among the available MIG category units, three units have a plinth area of 1,400 sft, seven of 1,380 sft and 13 with 1,320 sft. Each LIG unit has a plinth area of 820 sft. The price for allotment of both MIG and LIG units is `2,700 per sft. Details and applications can be obtained on the VUDA website www.vuda.gov.in Applicants must submit an EMD of `75,000 for MIG and `50,000 for LIG category with each application along with the application cost by way of a demand draft in favour of vice-chairman, VUDA.
