UPSC Prelims Exam Records Poor Turnout

VISAKHAPATNAM: The UPSC Civils examination held in the city Sunday registered a low attendance. Out of the total 11,710 registered candidates, only 30-40 per cent of them appeared for the examination.

The UPSC Civils Preliminary examination was held at 23 centres in the city in two shifts from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm respectively. Director of Youth Services Department, Chakravarthy, inspected various centres on the occasion. No malpractice was registered in any of the centres.
