RTC Employees Threaten Stir From Sept 11

HYDERABAD: Demanding that the Andhra Pradesh government rescue the APSRTC from the economic crisis it is facing, APSRTC Employees’ Union said they would launch an indefinite strike from September 11 if the government does not save it.

K Padmakar, general secretary of the union, demanded the government to announce a strategy as to how it wants to save the corporation. “When we questioned the management about the usage, they said they are not receiving funds from government,” he  said and added that the management has used around ` 400 crore belonging to the employees.
