DRM Opens Online Room Booking Facility

VIJAYAWADA : South Central Railway’s Vijayawada divisional railway manager Pradeep Kumar has said that the online booking of retiring rooms will help passengers find an accommodation without any hassels.

Inaugurating the online booking of retiring rooms at Vijayawada railway station here Thursday, he said that the online booking of retiring rooms could be done through the website on Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (www.irctc.gov.in).

In Vijayawada division, there are about five stations where the train passengers can book their retiring rooms online.  Passengers can book the rooms by mentioning the PNR numbers of their confirmed or RAC tickets in the website. The tariff for the rooms at the respective railway stations has been put up on the website.

The DRM appreciated the the staff for maintaining cleanliness at the railway station. Senior divisional commercial manager, Vijayawada Division, NV Satyanarayana, and other staff were present.
