VIJAYAWADA: The headquarters of Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association (APOA) will be soon set up in Vijayawada and the state association is gearing up for APOA’s executive body elections to be conducted on April 19.
Majority of the state association members were supporting KP Rao, who is presently holding the post of secretary of the Krishna District Olympic Association, as general secretary of the state body.
Addressing a press conference at the Krishna District Olympic Association Hall here Monday, Andhra Pradesh Judo Association president N Venkat said, “We are nominating KP Rao from Vijayawada for the general secretary as he had successfully led the KDOA as secretary.”
