TDP Leaders May Do a Jagan in TS House

HYDERABAD: TDP leaders in Telangana are learnt to be considering the option of moving a no-confidence motion against Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary — perhaps, taking a leaf out of YSRC chief YS Jagan’s strategy in the AP Assembly!

Jagan on Thursday boycotted the AP Assembly accusing Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao of acting like a ‘TDP man’  and served a no-trust notice against him. A day after the YSRC and TDP members used unparliamentary language in the AP Assembly, the Speaker suspended eight Jagan’s legislators following which came the Jagan decision. Jagan vowed not to attend the House until it debates the no-trust notice against the Speaker.

TDP leaders in Telangana, who are miffed with Speaker Madhusudhana Chary for not acting on their plea to disqualify ‘defectors’, are learnt to have asked Congress leaders to support a no-trust motion against him. However, they didn’t get a positive response. Sources said even then, the TDP may press ahead after Ugadi.
