Tada Still Tense, More Forces Deployed

NELLORE:As tense situation continues in Tada, a mandal on the border with Tamil Nadu, in the wake of the encounter in the Seshachalam forest of Chittoor district, the district police have deployed additional forces there on Thursday.  Additional Superintendent of Police Reddy Gangadhara Rao, personally inspected the security arrangements in the border villages and conducted vehicle checking at integrated checkpost located at Bheemulavaari Palem.Speaking to mediapersons, he said that people must report to the police if they noticed shady charactors in their areas.  He said that efforts were on to nab the miscreants who attacked an RTC bus at Tada on Tuesday. Meanwhile the administration has issued a warning to fishermen not to venture into the Pulicat Lake as the tense situation prevailing in TN might trigger attacks from rival groups at the Mukhadwaram of the lake which straddles the border of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.   APSRTC which had suspended the services following the incidents on Tuesday did not resume services on Thursday. When contacted, incharge regional manager P Chandra Sekhar told Express that suspension of services will continue till further orders from the government.
