VIJAYAWADA: Six schoolchildren were injured in an accident when their school bus skidded off the road, as the steering rod of the vehicle broke at Davajigudem under Gannavaram police limits here on Saturday.
According to Gannavaram CI Sk Ahmed Ali, the incident took place when the bus of Care and Share Charitable Trust was carrying 25 children from Davajigudem to Buddhavaram.
With the breakage of steering rod, the driver lost control over the bus and it veered off the road, resulting in minor injuries to six children.
