HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday cancelled the allotment of the quarter bearing No MB-17 at Road No 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, to Peethala Sujatha, Minister for Women Empowerment.
Interestingly, the reason cited by the State government for its decision to cancel the allotment to Sujatha is that the quarter is still under the occupation of Telangana PCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
“The Executive Engineer, R&B was also requested to get it vacated, but in vain. Therefore, she requested the government to cancel the allotment order. Hence, the State government has decided to cancel the allotment order of the said quarter,” a GO issued here stated.
