VISAKHAPATNAM: YSR Congress leader and MLA Roja has announced that the party would soon launch a series of agitations demanding the government to shut all the illegal wine shops across the state and also initiate steps to solve people’s issues.

Addressing mediamen here Wednesday, Roja alleged that chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu was keeping himself busy touring various countries rather than giving attention to people’s problems. Interestingly, even the TDP leaders and ministers were unaware of his foreign tours, she pointed out.

The TDP government was keen on looting the bauxite mines in Visakhapatnam agency, for the CM was of the opinion that lifting the bauxite reserves was the only way to tide over the existing financial problems being faced by the state, post-bifurcation, she alleged.

Paderu MLA G Eeswari and YSRC women’s wing leaders were present.
