22K Opt for Hyd EAMCET Centre

VIJAYAWADA: Nearly 22,000 candidates have opted for Hyderabad as centre for EAMCET to be held on May 8.

According to human resources development minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, steps have been taken to set up 30 to 50 examination centres in Hyderabad to facilitate students who opted for it to write their exams. Results of the EAMCET will be announced on May 26 while results of the Intermediate second year are  expected on or before April 28.

The government is yet to take a decision on fee reimbursement issue and discussions on the same are still under progress.

The minister said they are making every effort to ensure that no student suffers.
