VIJAYAWADA:The police arrested one Mohammad Rabbani,27, and recovered from his possession 16 bikes which he had stolen since last year.
According to police commissioner AB Venkateswara Rao, Rabbani used to steal Honda Activa and Splenour vehicles using duplicate keys. He had thus stolen 16 vehicles and kept them at a place close to his house in Yanamalakuduru. He would take pictures of the vehicles and post them on the internet for sale.
The police nabbed him when he was trying to sell one of the 16 vehicles at Moulali Street in Arundelpet here Friday, the police commissioner said.
