HYDERABAD: The newly-appointed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman and senior TDP leader Chadalavada Krishnamurthy is likely to take charge on Wednesday.
A day after he was appointed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman, Chadalavada called on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat and expressed his gratitude to him.
“My priority would be to see that common devotees get darshan easily and all other facilities in Tirumala,” he told reporters later.
Referring to the scams that took place in the TTD board in the previous government, Chadalavada said he would streamline the entire functioning of the board and make it transparent and accountable.
“I would see that the board functions transparently,” he said.
Indicating that he would act tough against people indulging in corrupt practices in the board, the new TTD chief said he would initiate stringent action against corrupt officials.
