VIJAYAWADA:Ever thought of having breakfast on boat cruising on the river enjoying the verdant beauty of nature with birds taking flight in the dawn sky.
Now, Vijayawada Division of APTDC will be offering you such an opportunity every day from July 5 on serene waters of River Krishna. It is not just breakfast, one can also enjoy romantic candlelight dinner on a board cruising the river during nights, which too will commence on the same day.
The new packages are being introduced by APTDC to attract more tourists and help them enjoy the hospitality of tourism department in Vijayawada. For those who are staying at Berm Park and Bhavani Island resorts of APTDC, the breakfast on boat is complimentary and others can enjoy the facility on payment.
“Breakfast on Boat is priced at Rs 150 per head for adults and Rs 100 per head for children aged between 3 and 8. Candlelight dinner on boat costs Rs 300 per head. Breakfast on Boat will commence exactly at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at 8:30 a.m while the candlelight dinner (1-hour ride) will be organised from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m,” APTDC Vijayawada divisional manager V V S Gangaraju said.
APTDC has six boats and they will be used depending on the demand. The boat ride will start at Berm Park and cover Ferry - Prakasam Barrage, before ending at Berm Park. “We hope it will attract many people as it promises an exciting experience,” he said.
