Choice-Based Credit System to Come up in ANU

GUNTUR: Acharya Nagarjuna University is gearing up to implement the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and the common core syllabus in its constituent and affiliated colleges.

On Monday, after finalising the syllabus for UG programme in the state at a meeting organised under the chairmanship of ANU in-charge VC KRS Sambasiva Rao, mails were sent to college managements informing them of the decisions.

In a press release, the university authorities have explained that issues pertaining to common core syllabus prepared by SV University on the direction of APSCHE for undergraduate courses - BA, BCom, BSc and others were discussed at length. Both CBCS and Common Core Syllabus will be implemented in all the colleges across the state from academic year 2015-16.
