District Joint Collector B Ramarao today directed movie hall owners here not to hike rates of tickets while screening 'Baahubali' from tomorrow.

VIZIANAGARAM: District Joint Collector B Ramarao today directed movie hall owners here not to hike rates of tickets while screening 'Baahubali' from tomorrow.

In a statement issued here, the collector rejected movie hall owners' request to run shows from 8 am to 1 pm due to the lengthy duration of the movie. He has directed them to screen the movie as per regular shows and not allow any additional seating

arrangements, the statement said. He has issued orders to revenue and police officials to conduct inspections at movie halls to check suspected black marketing of tickets.

The S S Rajamouli directed movie will hit 4,000 screens globally tomorrow. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the movie has been made in Telugu and Tamil, as well as dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.
