Now, Pawan Trains Guns on Congress

HYDERABAD: Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan, who has been attacking the ruling TDP or its failure to get special category status to the reorganised state, has focused his attack this time on the Congress party in the state.

Taking an indirect dig at the Congress, he tweeted: “I love Congress! I adore Congress! for their Zeal, for their Fervour, for their Passion to take on BJP Govt…”  Congress is busy more on cornering the BJP by raising Lalit Modi issue repeatedly than to fight for the implementation of their earlier promise to deliver special status to AP, he alleged.

“Merely for ‘ONE LALIT MODI’ Issue than to fight for their Promise to deliver SPECIAL STATUS to ‘FiFTY MILLION SEEMANDHRAS.’ Hail Congress!” the actor-turned politico tweeted.

Responding to the tweet, APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy claimed that the Congress had been continuously exerting pressure on the Centre to grant special status to AP.

“Every one of us is pressurising the Centre to accord special status to AP. We will continue our efforts to exert pressure on the Centre till AP is accorded special status. Pawan might have criticised us because of lack of proper information,” he clarified.
