Ex-VC of KU to Head Expert Committee on Reforms in IIIT

VIJAYAWADA:An expert committee chaired by Krishna University former vice-chancellor V Venkaiah would be constituted to usher in reforms in IIIT, Nuzvid, Higher Education Minister G Srinivasa Rao said on Tuesday.

The minister made the announcement after going around the institution along with Eluru MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao, local MLA Meka Venkata Pratap Apparao, former MLA M Venkateswara Rao. The expert committee will submit its report after six sittings.

Based on the report, a rule book would be developed which would be followed.

As regards the problems of the students, committees with lecturers would be formed to go into them, he said.
