PSLV Launch Postponed Due to Tech Snag

NELLORE: The launch of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C-27, scheduled for March 9, has been postponed. Scientists have detected some technical snags in the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS1-D) and ISRO chairman AS Kiran kumar, who visited Satish Dhavan Space Centre (SDSC) three days ago, discussed the issues and the launch was put off.  Initially, it was thought of taking the satellite to Bengaluru for corrections, but later it was decided to do it at SHAR itself.  Now, it is likely to take 30 days for the launch.
