BJP Workers Told to Explain Central Aid

TIRUPATI: Reiterating that the BJP-led NDA government will fulfil all the promises made to the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh in the AP Reorganisation Act, Union urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu wanted the saffron party cadre to explain to the people about the Central government’s commitment to addressing the issues pertaining to AP.

During a brief interaction with BJP leaders at Renigunta airport, before boarding a flight for New Delhi, the minister said the Centre will never deviate from the issues mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act.

Venkaiah Naidu recalled Union finance minister Arun Jaitley’s assurance of extending the required financial assistance to the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh, during his budget speech.
