VISAKHAPATNAM : In a shocking incident, a youngster assaulted his house owner with a blade at Vaada Veedhi near Lakshmi Talkies in I Town area here Sunday. The person was identified as P Vinay Kumar (19), a student living with his parents. He reportedly attacked his house owner for asking his family to vacate the house.
According to I Town inspector of police Ch Srinivas, the house owner, K Suri Babu of Vaada Veedhi, lodged a complaint stating that he was attacked after he had asked the tenats to vacate the house.
In his complaint K Suri Babu stated that he had been asking them to vacate for sometime now but the family was not responding to his request. Sunday afternoon, he went to the house and asked them to vacate immediately, when Vinay suddenly attacked him with blade, injuring his on his stomach and chest.
Police said that the house owner is fine. They have registered a case and are investigating.
