GO on Package for AP Ryots

Farmers who have given their dry and ‘Jareebu’ land of less than 1 acre under the scheme, will be paid `30,000 for dry land and `50,000 for ‘Jareebu’ land for 10 years.

HYDERABAD: AP govt on Monday issued orders giving statutory provision to the compensatory package announced by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to farmers who gave their lands for the new capital.

As per the GO, owners who gave their land around existing village settlement areas of Bethapudi, Navuluru, Yerrabalem, Penumaka and Undavalli, will get 450 square yards of commercial reconstituted land and 1,000 square yards of residential reconstituted land.

“For the farmers who have parted with their land under the land pooling scheme, the annual payments will start from March 1, 2015,” the GO stated.

Farmers who have given their dry and ‘Jareebu’ land of less than 1 acre under the scheme, will be paid `30,000 for dry land and `50,000 for ‘Jareebu’ land for 10 years.

Similarly, irrespective of the nature of crop, all types of fruits and horticulture crop farmers will be eligible to get a loan waiver up to `1,50,000.
