RAJAHMUNDRY: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has decided to install the statue of former chief minister and founder of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in the middle of teh river Godavari river connection with the ensuing, much-awaited Godavari Pushkarams.
The statue will be erected on the lines of the Buddha statue in Hussainsagar in Hyderabad. ND Teja, a student of Rajiv Gandhi Degree College, designed the statue of the founder of the Telugu Desam Party.
The statue will be developed as an important tourist attraction in the future. The design received laurels from various quarters.
