VISAKHAPATNAM : After 24 hours of manhunt, police nabbed under-trial prisoner Sanyasi Rao, who escaped from KGH Monday while undergoing treatment for a liver condition. I Town inspector of police V Srinivasa Rao, along with his team, nabbed the prisoner in his hometown of Kithayyathota in Ananthagiri mandal of Vizag agency.
CI V Srinivasa Rao said that G Sanyasi Rao (30), an accused in a murder case and a remand prisoner, escaped from KGH early Sunday. Commissioner of Police Amit Garg formed special teams, which led to the prisoner escaped prisoner nabbed within 24 hours.
