GUNTUR: In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old intermediate student of a private college under Nallapadu police station limits was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Monday evening.
According to police, the victim, identified as G Satya Sai from Chilakaluripeta, was pursuing intermediate second year in Sri Medha College and was staying in the hostel run by the college.
On information that Sathya Sai had committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in his hostel room, the Nallapadu police rushed to the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
Meanwhile, parents and relatives of the victim, who rushed to Guntur on knowing of the incident, cried foul play and demanded justice. A case has been registered.
