VIJAYAWADA:Condemning the comments made by Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, YSRCP activists and corporators staged a dharna at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in One Town area here on Thursday.
The YSRCP activists demanded an open apology from Bonda Umamaheswara Rao to YSRCP MLAs RK Roja and Kodali Nani for slighting them on the floor of Assembly.
The police arrested YSRCP leader P Gowtham Reddy and other activists.
