HYDERABAD: Lending credence to the argument that the rift between the allies, TDP and BJP, is gradually widening, the saffron party on Friday tried to corner the yellow party in the Assembly. BJP objected to the way Assembly was being run without the presence of the lone Opposition party.

BJP MLA P Vishnukumar Raju asked the Speaker to postpone the discussion on drought as YSRC members were not present.  He took an indirect dig at the TDP by objecting to the way some political parties were criticising Venkaiah Naidu for Centre’s dilly-dallying approach in fulfilling all promises made to the state.
