HYDERABAD: Providing relief to a majority of power consumers, the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has not increased electricity tariff for those who consume power up to 200 units per month in the State. For those who consume more than 200 units, it hiked power charges by 5 per cent. The revised tariff will come into effect from April 1. The APERC on Monday gave nod to the power utilities to hike electricity tariff.
