AU Students Stage Dharna

 VISAKHAPATNAM: A large number of students pursuing engineering and M.Tech integrated courses in Andhra University staged a protest Tuesday alleging that their courses were not given priority in placements and there were drawbacks in their departments. AU V-C GSN Raju assured to look into the issue. The students demanded basic facilities including enough faculty members to offer the five and six-year engineering integrated courses. Raju said that AU would implement the changes announced by the government from the academic year of 2015-16.
