BSc 2nd Yr Physics Exam Paper of BRAU Leaked

SRIKAKULAM:  After the students of Andhra University, it is the now turn of the students of Dr. BR Ambedkar University to suffer due to reported leakage of BSc second year physics question paper in Srikakulam Friday.

The university authorities cancelled the exam for the day and declared that the next date for the exam will be announced later. The first and second year degree exams for students studying in colleges affiliated to Dr. BR Ambedkar University commenced on March 19 and will continue till April 4. About 25,000 students are appearing for the examinations across the district.

At 2 pm Friday, about 6,600 students were to attend the physics exam of BSc second year. But news reports were flashed in some vernacular channels about the question paper leakage. A few news channels even read out the leaked questions.

Immediately, the varsity authorities alerted the test centre officials, who cancelled the exam. “We were informed about the cancellation by the university controller of examination. We are unaware of the next date for the examination,” said R Gopala Rao, chief superintendent of examination centre at Government Degree College in Srikakulam.

Students who arrived at the exam halls were shocked to find notice boards displaying the cancellation message. University officials said that an inquiry was ordered into the incident. The police registered a case and are investigating.

AU to Cancel BRBM College Affiliation

Andhra University officials are considering cancellation of the permanent affiliation granted to BRBM Degree College at Kancharapalem, if the college staff/management are found guilty in the leakage of BSc final year Web Technology question paper on March 25. AU v-c GSN Raju said that the college principal has been suspendedand that two students were also involved.
