MACHILIPATNAM: State BC welfare minister Kollu Ravindra has said that measures will be taken to develop parks in the town into playgrounds.
Addressing a gathering at the Town Hall here Sunday after distributing prizes at ‘Yuva Keratalu’ programme, he said several great people like Nori Dattatraya, C K Naidu, Supreme Court judge Jasti Chelameswar and many others hail from Machilipatnam and students should get inspired by them.
He said such programmes would be conducted every year to bring out the hidden talents of students.
He inaugurated a free eye check-up camp organised by Rotary Club.
Rotary Club President G Rajeswari was present.
