VISAKHAPATNAM: The police arrested a doctor-turned-realtor here Monday in connection with many alleged land-grabbing cases against him. O Nagendra Kumar Yadav, a native of Nellore, is residing at Madhurwada. Based on a complaint from G Bapineedu and nine others, the police arrested Nagendra Kumar for trespassing and grabbing land.
Nagendra Kumar migrated to Vizag in 2008 and got into real-estate. Police said that Bapineedu and others purchased over one acre of land near Kommadi under survey no. 2 in 1984. On December 7, 2014, Dr Nagendra Kumar and eight others encroached on it in the night and occupied it, producing fake documents. PM Palem police, led by inspector SA Raju investigated and found that Nagendra and others produced false documents, leading to his arrest.
